Every last Saturday of the last week of July, Atzeneta del Maestrat hosts a very special musical evening: the Habaneras Singing Night. This festival, promoted by the local Festival Committee and the group Amics de l’Havanera, has become over the years a unique cultural event aimed at promoting the music of habaneras and tavern songs—melodies with maritime roots that have also found their place inland.

Since its beginning in 2016, the event has drawn audiences of all ages, offering a repertoire that blends genre classics with original compositions and new musical arrangements, in a warm and festive atmosphere. The event stands out for its ability to generate community spirit, emotion, and a love for traditional music.


Edición 2025

Este año se celebra la XIX edición del festival, el sábado 26 de julio de 2025. El escenario volverá a llenarse de música con la participación de tres destacadas formaciones: el Grup Balandra, reconocido por su calidad vocal e instrumental; Els Pescadors, con un repertorio vibrante de habaneras tradicionales y creaciones propias; y Amics de l’Havanera, el grupo local que cada año aporta su entusiasmo y amor por este género. Una noche que promete emoción, raíces y conexión con la cultura popular mediterránea.
