Description: Every December 11, hundreds of thousands of people around the world pay tribute to the mountains and peaks of the planet, the great reservoirs of biodiversity and almost indestructible lungs of our Earth, which year after year suffer threats that make them increasingly vulnerable to disturbances such as the Climate Emergency. In 2024, with the motto “Mountain-based solutions for a sustainable future,” we will celebrate this important event by ascending Bartolo via Route 1 of the Natural Park.

Recommendations: Warm clothing and hiking boots, lunch, plenty of water. Do not attend if you have a serious injury or illness, or are recovering from one.
