Come and be part of the Benicasim festivities which fill the streets with the delicious aroma of our worldwide famous dish. Check out Benicasim Paella Day.

Día de las Paellas , Paella Day, in Benicasim is one of the most important events of the Patron Saint Festival, in honour of San Antonio Abad and Santa Águeda. Normally celebrated on Friday, this foodie celebration sees each participant make their very own paella, bringing their ingredients with them to the party. This is a great cultural occasion to check out if you’re looking for fun things to do in the Region of Valencia.

Benicasim Paella Day fills the city centre with the warmth of wood fire and the smell of rich irresistible aromas, with hundreds, sometimes more than a thousand paellas bubbling away simultaneously on the streets. To take part in the big cooking bash all you have to do is sign up. The firewood, trivet, table, olive oil and rice are all provided and the rest of the ingredients are up to you depending on your preference and paella-cooking style. As well as being a unique communal cooking experience, Paella Day in Benicasim also brings live music to the streets and outdoor stages with the party continuing late into the night. Put Paella Day in the diary and don’t miss this special day in Benicasim where the hustle and bustle will make you smile. Combine your trip with a hike or cycle along the Vía Verde del Mar to work up that appetite before. Don’t miss it!
