Make your way to La Salzadella to celebrate the delicious cherry at a festival full of products made from the fruit.

Cherries are so important in La Salzadella, a small village in the province of Castellón, that a whole festival is thrown in their honour.

Feria de la Cereza, also known as Fira de la Cirera, was founded in 2008 to give the deliciously sweet fruit the visibility it deserves. During the festival, the village is filled with kilos and kilos of cherries. You will have the opportunity to try all sorts of delights made from the fruit, such as aguardientes, desserts, liqueurs, jams and some more unexpected products, as well as, of course, enjoy eating as much of the fruit as you possibly can. Traditional trades will be on display and there will be workshops that you can take part in. A wonderful way to spend a June weekend.
