On 12 August 2026, Montán will become the setting for an exceptional experience: the observation of the total solar eclipse and the Perseid meteor shower during a night full of history, mystery and tradition.

The activity is guided by Antonia, a theatrical character who takes visitors back to the 15th century to discover how eclipses, omens in the sky and phenomena that seemed to stop time were interpreted in the past. This is not only about looking at the sky, but about enjoying a cultural, sensory and emotional immersion in a natural setting.

During the experience, participants will enter an atmospheric camp, listen to stories and legends, observe the eclipse or the Perseids depending on the chosen option and, in the most complete package, enjoy a rustic tasting with local products. Candlelight, the medieval atmosphere and the night sky will turn the evening into an unforgettable experience.

The activity is designed for small groups and for visitors looking for something different, carefully prepared and full of character, combining astronomy, heritage, oral tradition and gastronomy.
