Come and experience one of Nules' most iconic festivals and steep yourself in tradition.

The Festa de les Camareres, the Waitresses' Festival, in Nules, Castelló, takes place on the Sunday after Easter, on the eve of San Vicente Ferrer.

During this celebration, women dressed in black wearing mantillas, gloves and shawls hold vigil at La Sangre Chapel and the belongings of Our Lady of Solitude, the town's patron saint.

During these Nules festivities, each waitress parades alongside a man holding a candle and a girl dressed in white bearing a palm leaf, while àngels, children who have received their first communion, accompany the image of the Virgin. It is a tradition that combines solemnity, devotion and a strong sense of community. It is also a fabulous opportunity to see the best that this town brimming with fascinating places has to offer!
