Iglesia Parroquial de Santa María Magdalena, Santa María Magdalena Parish Church in Villafranca del Cid is a Plateresque style church that first started being constructed in the year 1567. It is one of many points of interest located in this part of Els Ports.

Santa María Magdalena Parish Church was extended on a number of occasions over the centuries to create, for example, El Trasagrario Chapel and the Communion Chapel in 1725. In the latter, you can see a small work of art, a tabernacle made by the artist Vicente March in the mid-20th-century, which won the National Metalwork Prize.
