The lookouts of Jávea, in Alicante, are strategic points from which to enjoy a gorgeous coastal landscape. This stretch of coastline in La Marina Alta is truly stunning! Put on some comfortable shoes and visit these 15 places one after the other, on a single route, or discover them little by little, savouring them at your own pace.

Jávea Lookouts Route: Cabo de San Antonio, Els Molins, Punta del Arenal and Séquia de la Nòria

Your route in search of lookout points in Jávea will start at Cabo de San Antonio, on a spectacular cliff overlooking the sea, which can be reached on foot or by car from the port of Jávea. Our next stop will be Els Molins, where you discover delightful old windmills on the mountain, accompanied by information panels.

Your third lookout point in Jávea will be Punta de l'Arenal, on the beach of the same name. This one is at sea level, and you will be amazed by the colour of the Mediterranean at Jávea! Continuing on, we come to the Séquia de la Nòria. Here you have a hydraulic infrastructure dating from Roman times that let seawater into the salt flats. Your plans in Jávea have to include a visit here!

Cala Blanca, Caletes, Creu del Portitxol and L'Illa

We continue discovering Jávea’s lookout points and come to one of its most popular coves. Cala Blanca has a charming lookout that we recommend reaching on foot, and from there we continue on to Caletes. The view of the cliffs and coves is sublime, and you'll be dying to take a dip!

Continue on this route to reach the Creu del Portitxol lookout point, a beautiful spot to rest before going on to L'Illa lookout, where you have a breathtaking view of the small isle opposite Cala de Portitxol.

La Falzia, Cap Negre, Cap de la Nau and La Granadella

La Falzia is probably one of the best viewing points in Jávea, due to its height and verticality. At Cap Negre you can get spectacular photos. Then it's time to head for Cap de la Nau, the Valencian Region’s easternmost point. Here you have a lighthouse where you can take stunning photos. If you come by sea, you'll see some incredible caves!

Our next lookout point in Jávea awaits you in a natural area stretching up to Cala de la Granadella. It is a place boasting a wide variety of flora and fauna, while there are scores of farm buildings of different types.

Les Pesqueres, Ambolo and Castell de la Granadella

Les Pesqueres is a lookout point located above a traditional fishing ground, on a fairly steep cliff. You then reach the lookout point of Ambolo, from where you can admire an old watchtower and views that will take your breath away. Finally, you arrive at the Castell de la Granadella lookout, your last stop on this route of Jávea lookout points!
