What to do in Benimodo
To start, we recommend taking a walk through the streets of Benimodo where you will come across beautiful ceramic altarpieces of a religious nature decorating some of the façades. Be sure to see the Republican Casino and the Imprenta Ortí Building, as well as La Purísima Concepción Parish Church.
One of the most popular trails in Benimodo will lead you to Ullals del Riu Verd Municipal Nature Area, a small oasis teeming with life in the heart of La Ribera Alta. Here the springs that form the River Verd bubble up from the earth. 11 km later, the waters merge with those of the River Júcar.
Surrounded by fruit and citrus groves, this wetland retains the essence of the landscapes of yesteryear, with its distinctive vegetation standing out against the agricultural plains. The nature area offers a natural refuge. Nestled here is the old Machine House, also known as Motor de Ressalany, along with farmhouses that speak of the traditional agricultural land, known as the huerta.
Benimodo is an ideal place to unwind, be blown away by the views and discover how water transforms landscapes. Come and explore in an unforgettable getaway.
