The Fallas in Gandia is getting ready to transform the city completely. Starting on the 15 March, this festivity will fill the streets with music, firecrackers and all the colours of the rainbow.

On the 15, there’ll be the baby baptism, a rooted tradition at the Fallas de Gandia, where one special newborn baby is baptised surrounded by the whole fallera family. From that day onwards, there’ll be parades, mascletas (firecracker displays) and verbenas (outdoor stages). On the 17, join the incredible guided tour of the fallas (sculptures) and the city, and don't miss the magical 'Nit del Foc' firework display. On the 18, la ofrenda - a moving flower offering - and live music performances take place. The climax of the fiesta will take place on the 19 with la cremà - the burning of the sculptures, which marks the end of the fallero year…and the beginning of the next. Are you going to be there?
