What to see in Guadasséquies

Guadasséquies was partially submerged by the current Bellús reservoir, but its temple was preserved and is now the Cultural Center of the Old Church of the Virgin of Hope. It is an 18th-century Baroque building and you will enjoy exploring its interior. Next to it you will find a recreational area from which to admire the reservoir and take great photos. This old church also houses a very interesting collection of pieces related to the liturgy.

Some of the oldest houses in the town center are still standing, so a stroll through its streets is a great plan. Afterwards, we encourage you to visit the Hermitage of Cristo del Amparo, built in 1906, and another of the places of interest in Guadasséquies. It is small and has a special charm, and it is also located in the upper part of the town, where the surroundings have been arranged to create a viewpoint over the valley that is really beautiful.
