World Paella Day is held at La Marina in València, where international chefs compete for the World Paella Day Cup after being selected by the public and a professional jury. Before the final, they take part in the World Paella Day Cup Stage, working alongside paella masters and rice experts in the city.

Each chef prepares their own version of paella, with one key requirement: the rice must be dry, loose, intact and full of flavour. You can also follow the competition online via the official livestream. The World Paella Day Cup is a great opportunity to experience Valencian gastronomy and tradition first-hand. Don’t miss it!
