Easter Week is celebrated in a particular way in Xátiva, where the inhabitants internalise the solemnity of the acts, which are lived with great fervour. The traditional procession of "Les Cortesies" is celebrated on the night of Holy Wednesday, parading religious images from the XVIII century in processions around the streets of the city.
