Xeraco shines the spotlight on 'esmorzar' with a five-day event revolving around the local gastronomic tradition.

Who doesn’t enjoy a good 'esmorzar'? Eaten around brunch time, this quintessentially Valencian tradition involves a hearty sandwich followed by a coffee. A connoisseur in ‘esmorzar’, Xeraco is hosting FIESCREM, short for Fira de l'Esmorzaret i del Cremaet, a fair dedicated to the meal and ‘cremaet’, a local type of coffee made with burnt rum flavoured with sugar and citrus peel. Now in its third edition, FIESCREM is a five-day event revolving around the tradition. The event opens on the 1 May with the Cremaet Competition, will which see a number of pros competing to make the best coffee. Throughout the fair there will be children’s workshops, live music, guided tours and much, much more. Don’t miss it.
