Held since the 14th century, Feria de Todos los Santos is an incredible fair that you won’t want to miss.

Cocentaina is a town with traditions that are still very much alive. One of these is Feria de Todos los Santos, a fair that has been listed an Event of International Tourist Interest and an Event of Cultural Interest. The Feria has been held since the year 1356, when Peter IV of Aragon granted the right to celebrate it. It is not, however, the only historic event held in the town: Moors and Christians has also been celebrated for many years.

Year after year, thousands of visitors flock to Cocentaina to enjoy the many experiences on offer at the fair. The event is the biggest of its kind in the Region of Valencia, and at it you can sample plenty of delicious local products.

Another traditional part of the Feria are the horse shows and livestock fair. As you wander around, you will see animals, industrial and agricultural machinery and deals being made in the traditional way – orally.

The Medieval market is a highlight of the festivities. Arrabal de Cocentaina is transformed with Islamic stalls selling the most captivating of products. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this great event in a beautiful town.
