Built in 1849 and restored between 1909 and 1911, it is sited in a characteristic square in the old quarter next to the Centro Cultural Biblioteca, (Cultural Library Centre) equipped with magnificent installations, and the Edificio Municipal de Urbanismo (Town Planning Building) which has been built recently.
