Villajoyosa has 15 km of coastline split into 13 coves and beaches where you can enjoy all the wonders of the Costa Blanca. There really is something for everyone. If beautiful coves are your thing, you won’t want to miss La Caleta.

La Caleta beach in Villajoyosa is 2km from the centre of the town, in the direction of Alicante. This is a pebbly beach that stretches along the coastline for 139 m. The beautiful scenery here is one of the greatest attractions. There are palm trees and other quintessentially Mediterranean plants sitting on the shore.

La Caleta has been awarded to Q from Qualitur. There are all sorts of services on offer, from loungers and parasols for hire, fountains to wash the sand off your feet, walkways, lifeguards and a beach bar where you can get yourself something to drink to cool yourself down in the summer months. Just a stone’s throw from the beach you’ll find restaurants and a car park where you can leave your vehicle. From here you can follow a path that conveniently takes you all the way down to the water so you can enjoy the wonders of La Caleta.

Please be aware that dogs and caravans are not allowed at the beach. La Caleta is one of Villajoyosa’s most natural beaches and a wonderful place to relax and unwind. So what are you waiting for? Put it on your to-visit list.
