This October, Mutxamel invites you to discover its heritage in a different way. Historic gardens, water heritage, defensive architecture, theatre and literature come together in a programme of guided tours and experiences to enjoy the town during the autumn season.

Under the slogan “A story to experience, a heritage to share”, Mutxamel Tourism invites you to explore some of the town’s most distinctive places.

🌿 Santa Elena Garden

On Sunday, 4 October, at 11:00 am, discover the history and secrets of this historic garden, located in the former Ferraz Estate.

📍 Meeting point: Sant Roc Square.

💧 Les Fontetes–Mutxamel Weir

On Sundays, 4 and 18 October, at 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, discover the importance of water and its connection with Mutxamel’s farmland and landscape.

📍 Les Fontetes Interpretation Centre, Els Plans area.

🎬 “A Filmmaker’s Dreams in the Garden”

On Sunday, 11 October, at 11:00 am, Santa Elena Gardens become the setting for a theatrical guided tour combining heritage, history and fiction.

🏰 Defence Tower

On Sunday, 25 October, at 11:00 am, discover one of the most important landmarks of Mutxamel’s historic past: its 15th-century Defence Tower, officially designated as an Asset of Cultural Interest.

🌙📖 NEW · “The Mountain of Souls” by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer

On Friday, 30 October, at 8:00 pm, a new experience arrives in Mutxamel: a dramatised tour inspired by the literary world of Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.

The gardens surrounding the Sant Antoni Hermitage will provide the setting for an evening where literature, mystery, performance and heritage come together, offering a different way to discover this unique place.
