The coastline of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell is entirely declared as a site of general interest under the heading of "Penya-segats de la Marina" (cliffs of La Marina). This environment, which also includes the coast of Xàbia and Moraira-Teulada, has a preserved orology, in which typical housing of coastal cliffs and sea caves are found.

As for flora and fauna, is located the appearance of Diplotaxis ibicensis, and one of the best of Silene hifacensis (Silene D'ifach), as well as several caves of interest to bats. On the other hand, the area represents the last reference of the reproduction of the Osprey in the region, at the end of the 1980.

Natural habitats that show greater interest, are those related to the cliffs with endemic Limonium (Sealavender) and submerged marine caves and rock ledges. Noteworthy is also the meadows of great value and in an excellent state of conservation of Posidonia and Cymodocea.
