The Museu de la Mar, Sea Museum, in Santa Pola, is located in the Castle-Fortress and has exhibitions that are not to be missed. Learn all about Santa Pola's earliest history through its archaeological collection, which delves deep into the prehistorical, Iberian and Roman periods, amongst others.

Of particular note are the objects brought from the Roman House of Palmeral and the ancient Portus Ilicitanus.
