Fira Gastronòmica i Artesanal, the Food and Crafts Fair in Tàrbena, is much more than a market: it’s a living showcase of the culture, flavours and traditions of this charming mountain village. On the third weekend of July, the streets will be filled with stalls stocking local products, with everything from traditional sausages and honeys all the way through to pastries and desserts. The event also includes workshops in which you can see how wicker, palm and other trades have shaped history in the province of Alicante. The atmosphere is sure to be great as there will be community dances, traditional music performed live and activities for all the family.
