The Teatro Principal in Castellón de la Plana was built in the late 19th century, during a period of cultural effervescence. The chosen design created a building in a classical, historicist style, with a main façade rich in details and elements taken from Greek and Roman architectural traditions.

At the Teatro Principal in Castellón de la Plana you will find balconies boasting sumptuous balustrades, Ionic columns and high-relief medallions. A spectacular pediment, crowned with breathtaking statues, continues the references to classical cultures.

You will love entering the elegant lobby. The stalls, a large central space whose vaulted dome is decorated with paintings, are also spectacular.
