Mercado Central in València is an Art Nouveau masterpiece that is worth a visit if only to gaze at the beautiful architecture. This is a bustling market whose over 300 stalls is thought to make it the biggest hub selling fresh produce and products in Europe. And that’s not all: a number of great historic and artistic sights are just steps from here. 

Last but by no means least, we’re heading to Mercado Central in Alicante, a market with a total surface area of over 11,000m² where you can get a feel for the city, be wooed by the delicious aromas and enjoy the great products, which are the ingredients used in the delicious local rice dishes. Have a nose around before exploring the port and incredible Santa Bárbara Castle.
