Experiences of nautical activities
Coasteering consists of exploring a rocky coast through a combination of different activities such as climbing, swimming, caving, snorkelling, jumping, etc. We invite you to experience the feelings you get from doing this exciting activity in Xàbia. You'll discover remote landscapes and coves and enjoy some spectacular sea beds that are full of life.
Enjoy a tour of the castle, Masonic cemetery, the route of La Tomatina and the museum, St. Peter's Church and its spectacular outdoor auditorium carved in the rock. You will, of course, try traditional local cuisine and you'll have the chance to take home some of the local sausages and handmade sweetmeats or a souvenir of La Tomatina.
We are going to one of the places that surprises people most with its wild nature and its abundant water and vegetation: the river Carbo. This is a nice varied linear route that takes us to a spectacular waterfall, the high point of the hike that cannot be put into words. That is where we will have our lunch of local products. Anyone who wants to may bathe in the ice cold, crystal-clear, turquoise water. The quality of the water, the landscape and the vegetation will exceed all expectations.
The Sierra de Irta Natural Park is known for being practically the last undeveloped stretch (14 km) of the entire Spanish Mediterranean coastline from France to Andalusia. Its mountains, its coves and beaches, and its impressive cliffs are one of the last natural testimonies of what the Mediterranean once used to be, before it gradually disappeared over the last fifty years.
We are in the heart of the enormous Serra d'Espadà Natural Park: the true Mediterranean jungle, known for its cork oaks. We will walk along a trail surrounded by thick woods to La Mosquera, the old cork production centre that supplied corks for wines and cavas all over Spain. Back in Almedíjar we will visit a traditional organic cheese factory and a winery, which will leave a very good taste in your mouth.
