Visit the Counts of Olocau's Manor House and the historic Pardines Tower. This spectacular Site of Cultural Interest takes you through centuries of history. Visit for free.

Situated in Olocau, Casa de la Senyoria, the Manor House, is a large site with an impressive past. Listed a Site of Cultural Interest in 1998, it comprises two important buildings: Casa Solariega de los Condes de Olocau – the Counts of Olocau’s Manor House - and the thousand-year-old Torre de Pardines, Pardines Tower.

Dating back to medieval times, Pardines Tower was part of El Real Castle’s defence system. After the area was conquered by Jaime I, the tower became a key part of the new palatial building: the Counts of Olocau’s Manor House replaced El Real Castle as the administrative site for the barony of Olocau from the 15th century.

The 18th century earthquakes significantly damaged Pardines Tower and the original house. However, in 1796 a new Manor House was built, defined by spacious living areas with bedrooms on the top floor, and stables, an olive oil mill and granary below.

The Manor House currently serves as Olocau’s Tourist Information Office and houses the Puntal dels Llops Museum Collection. The first floor showcases what noble life was like at the time in the kitchen and halls, while the ground floor is home to other historic spaces. Following its restoration in 2002, the tower now offers a fascinating experience and stunning views.

This historic gem is a window into Olocau’s past. It’s free to visit and open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday during specific times. Come and visit.
