The hermitage dates back to the 18th century, when it was built to commemorate the arrival of Franciscan missionaries from Gilet. With its square layout, tiled dome and wrought-iron cross, la Cruz hermitage also houses figures of a cross and the Virgen de los Desamparados. The viewpoint has been restored by local residents, and the benches make it a pleasant place to stop and enjoy the landscape during your visit.
