If you and your kids are fascinated about the world of steam engines, you simply have to visit Parque de Vapor Vivo at Riba-roja de Túria. The park is home to a ridable miniature railway that will teach your little ones everything they’ve ever wanted to know about how steam locomotives work.

Opened in November 1989, the park boasts one of the best 5" gauge railways in Spain. Since its inauguration, the network has undergone a number of changes with new stations and automations being introduced.

Centro Ferroviario Vaporista de Riba-roja de Túria (CFVRt) is a non-profit that specialises in 5” gauge railways. The association is in charge of the maintenance, construction and repair of all engine and other train parts.

Combining design, engineering and the opportunity to meet other enthusiasts, the park is a paradise for lovers of miniature trains.

There are a total of five ridable trains, promising an experience that all the family will love. The station master is entrusted with coordinating the trains, which run at the same time. A great pastime.

What’s more, Parque de Vapor Vivo is located within Maldonado de Riba-roja municipal park where you can enjoy various areas including the children’s play park, picnic area, bar and outdoor cinema.
