The patron saint festivals in Sagunto and Puerto de Sagunto are bursting with history, tradition and joy. Don’t miss out!

Sagunto’s event calendar has two key moments: the festival in honour of Santos Mártires Abdón and Senén in July and the celebrations dedicated to Virgen del Buen Suceso in September. During these weeks, the destination is filled with energy and a great atmosphere thanks to all the concerts, religious events and traditional get-togethers. In Puerto de Sagunto, the festival of Virgen del Carmen (the week of the 16 July) is packed with devotion. The Fishermen Brotherhood organise a traditional maritime procession along the dock, which is accompanied by a special mass, floral offering, decorated streets and the sardinada in which locals and visitors enjoy eating sardines together. What’s more, during the first two weeks of August, the festival in honour of Virgen de la Begoña has a jam-packed programme with sports, bull running, exhibitions, concerts, the famous "Cordà" and fireworks.
