L’Albufera natural park is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in València: La Garrofera, a stretch of coastline enveloped in dunes and pine trees.

La Garrofera is sandwiched between El Saler beach and La Devesa beach, offering 2.5km of fine golden sand. The beach is located in the municipality of València and is part of L’Albufera, a natural park bursting with biodiversity and spectacular scenery.

La Garrofera beach is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Dunes define this stretch of the coastline and the Blue Flag bears testament to its quality.

You’ll find all the services you need for a successful day of sun, sea and sand at La Garrofera. There are two lifeguard stations, toilets, showers, showers for washing the sand off your feet, benches, a medical station and even a bar where you can get yourself something refreshing to drink or rent out a lounger and parasol. The walkway, adapted toilets and other facilities make the beach accessible to people with disabilities.

So how can you get to La Garrofera beach? You can either take public transport (there are a number of bus lines that drop you off nearby) or drive, leaving your car in the carpark. If you enjoy getting active, you could even cycle to the beach.

Spending time at La Garrofera is the perfect excuse to explore L’Albufera’s wetlands and landscapes. The next beach along, El Saler, is a nudist beach. Come to this beautiful stretch of the coastline and see a different side to València. It will absolutely be worth it.
