Discover a chapel in Xátiva with unique views, beautiful architecture and a past connected to the illustrious Borgia family.

Ermita de Santa Ana, Santa Ana Chapel in Xátiva, located in La Costera in the province of Valencia, sits on the hill or puig of the same name. The chapel was built in the 16th century under the order of Pope Alejandro VI, Rodrigo de Borja, probably on the foundations of a previous place of worship dating back to the 14th century.

With its rectangular plan, buttresses, starry vault, the coats of arms of the Borja-Gil d'Oms and the Virgin with Child, the simple façade with a semi-circular arch, the Gothic architecture stands out for its simplicity.

Santa Ana Chapel is well worth visiting, not least because its location atop Santa Ana hill affords spectacular views over the destination and its castle. The perfect way to appreciate the wealth or monuments in Xátiva while exploring the epic Land of the Borgias. An opportunity to connect with history.
