A 22km trail complete with tunnels and viaducts in an area defined by ceramics, vines and badlands.

Discover the province of Alicante’s diverse scenery along Vía Verde del Maigmó, a ‘Greenway’ that will lead you through tunnels, along viaducts and amid vines. The trail is situated between the towns of Agost and Tibi, and runs along a disused railway line that used to connect Alcoy and Alicante.

One way to explore the Greenway is by bike, though it’s well-signposted so that both cyclists and walkers can share the space. Along the 22km of the trail, you’ll come across tunnels and viaducts that paint a pretty picture. Slowly, the Greenway gains altitude before diving into the slopes of Sierra del Maigmó. Put it on your to-visit list: you’re going to love it.

Vía Verde del Maigmó is suitable for walkers and cyclists.
