Discover a small, charming church sitting in the heart of Benidorm’s historic centre. Come and take a look around.

Iglesia Parroquial de San Jaime Apóstol, San Jaime Apóstol Parish Church in Benidorm, sits in the heart of the destination’s historic centre, close to Balcón del Mediterráneo, the famous viewing point. Built atop a hill in the 18th century, this place of worship is just metres from the sea and looks down on the coastline from above.

San Jaime Apóstol Parish Church is one of the most characteristic sights in Benidorm, a charming destination replete with things to see and do. Inside you can see a wooden sculpture depicting Virgen del Sufragio which, legend has it, was found in a boat lost at sea. You’re sure to fall in love with the atmosphere surrounding San Jaime Apóstol Parish Church at sunset and with its blue tiled domes.

We’d highly recommend setting off on an exploration of Benidorm, visiting everything from Serra Gelada Natural Park to Tio Ximo cove and this small Neoclassical church overlooking the sea. Benidorm will take you aback when you discover that is has something for everyone, no matter how you enjoy spending your time.
