La Fossa beach in Calp, also known as Levante beach, is one of the best-known beaches in La Marina Alta. More than a kilometre long, it has fine sand and clean, pleasantly warm water, making it a popular choice for families and anyone looking to spend the day by the sea.
La Fossa beach in Calp: facilities and seafront promenade
A buzzy pedestrian promenade runs the length of the beach, and is lined with restaurants, cafés and shops. Facilities include access walkways, lifeguard areas, sun lounger hire and adapted services for visitors with reduced mobility. The shape of the bay also gives you an excellent view of the northern face of the Peñón de Ifach.
La Fossa beach is straightforward to reach by public transport or car, with parking available nearby. Its location, facilities and views have made it one of the area's most popular beaches.
