Villas Beach in Pilar de la Horadada, Alicante is a wide sweep of pale sand and calm, gentle waters—just the place to enjoy the Mediterranean at an easy, unhurried pace. There’s also a rocky section that children absolutely love, pottering about with buckets and spades and splashing in the little rock pools while the grown-ups get on with the important business of unwinding, reading, or taking a leisurely wander.
This is also where the Sardinero promenade begins—a seafront walk that follows the shoreline all the way to Jesuitas Beach, a fantastic option if you fancy stretching your legs and discovering more of the local coast.
Villas Beach has the basic services you need for a comfortable visit and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere that’s spot on if you’re after somewhere peaceful close to the town centre. All in all, it’s a nice place in La Vega Baja for a day out—and a brilliant way to enjoy Pilar de la Horadada at its best.
