Located in the province of Castellón, Almassora is a municipality steeped in history. If you would like to find out more about the town’s long and fascinating past, there is no better place to do so than at the municipal museum, Museo Municipal.

The museum sits on San Vicente street and is a space dedicated to knowledge about the prehistoric settlement of Torrelló de Almassora and its necropolis.

The display cases showcase over 100 objects dating from between the 8th century BC to the 1st century AD. Ceramics, metal, bones and day-to-day objects provide an insight into what life was like during this period.
