Ermita de San Vicente Ferrer, San Vicente Ferrer Chapel in Borriol, which dates back to the 17th century, and the year 1667 specifically, sits in beautiful surrounds close to the Roman Via Augusta. Indeed, ruins of one of this great road have been found next to the place of worship. Borriol is positively bursting with history, which you can delve into at Borriol History Museum, also known as MUHBO.

Ddedicated to San Vicente Ferrer, this small and simple chapel has a stone which, traditional has it, the saint once stood on to preach.

The façade of San Vicente Ferrer Chapel in Borriol features a ceramic panel and an inscription of the structure’s date of construction. Combining stone with the colour white, the chapel paints a pretty picture. Next to the chapel, you will see what is known as the “hermitage” and an esplanade where there used to be a kitchen garden. Here you can see a well dating to the year 1952 and a stone fountain.
