Caudiel’s festivals fill the streets of the village with colour and a whole lot of cheerful hustle and bustle. Discover the festival calendar and start preparing your getaways.

Fiestas de Caudiel, Caudiel’s festivals, are wonderful times to visit this village in El Alto Palancia that has plenty to get up to. The festival year starts in January with San Antonio where you can see sausages cooked over the flames of the bonfires and the traditional blessing of the animals. You also won’t want to miss the horse racing.

In the summer, it’s time for Fiesta y Feria de la Cereza, a festival and fair celebrating the cherry. Every June, you can take a look around a lively market and enjoy community meals, activities for children, street parties and performances of the traditional rondalla de Caudiel. This is an event that is well worth a visit.

In September there is Fiestas Patronales, the patron saint festivities, which combine religious acts, like floral offerings and processions, with bull events and music performed in the street. Lastly, in October, you can take part in Fiesta de Santa Úrsula, also known as Fiesta de las Mozas, which brings to life the tradition of a nocturnal procession, followed the next day by a pilgrimage to the spring where the clavariesas, the organisers, hand out pastries and liqueur.

Don’t miss Caudiel’s festivals.
