Discover the historical legacy of a town with a past linked to its thermal waters and its strategic location between the mountains and the plain.

The Vilavella Museographic Collection, also known as the Museum of La Vilavella, offers a chronological journey spanning from Prehistory to the 20th century. It is a remarkable collection and well worth discovering for yourself!

What to see at the Museum of La Vilavella

The museum is organised into five sections, featuring archaeological finds from local sites, a section devoted to the Civil War and a space dedicated to espadrille-making craftsmanship.

Particularly noteworthy is the section on thermal heritage, which includes a bathtub from the old spa in La Vilavella, along with documents reflecting the splendour of the spa-going bourgeoisie.

The museum is also home to the manuscript of the Risala, which serves as a testament to the Andalusi past of a town that has always grown in close connection with the treasure of its waters. Come and immerse yourself in the history of this corner of Castellón.
