Traiguera has an important link with its ancestors from Roman times, due to the great importance of the Via Augusta as an axis of communication and trade. Every year, they prepare a themed weekend during which you will be transported back to the ancient Roman Empire.

The Thiar Julia Roman Fair is an authentic date with its origins, when the town was called Thiar Julia. Traiguera is dedicated to setting the scene, staging and representing scenes from that time; you can't miss the opportunity to learn about its history through an interesting festival!
