Algemesí’s Bullfighting Week is a unique taurine festival held during the last week of September, following the celebration of the Mare de Déu de la Salut. Each year, tradition comes to life with the construction of a one-of-a-kind bullring, a true example of popular architecture and engineering.

BULLS WEEK 2025

From September 19 to 28

The Chupinazo marks the beginning of the Setmana de Bous d’Algemesí on Friday, September 19.

A total of 10 bullfighting shows have been scheduled, taking place from September 20 to 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., except for the morning practical class by the Valencia Bullfighting School, scheduled for Sunday, September 21, at 11:30 a.m. Some of these events will feature young participants from Algemesí.

As for the evening shows, Algemesí’s bullring will host:

Friday 19: Rafa Vio and DJ Valero

Saturday 20: Soraya

Sunday 21: Bull-leaping contest

Monday 22: Humor Amarillo (Wipeout-style game show)

Tuesday 23: La Pato Orchestra

Wednesday 24: Gran Prix

Thursday 25: Brass band contest

Friday 26: S.O.S

Saturday 27: Henry Méndez
