After the success of its first edition, Rabou, the Gastronomic Oxtail Competition of Algemesí, returns for its second edition on Monday, September 22. It has established itself as one of the most flavorful and original culinary events on the Valencian gastronomic calendar. The competition is organized by the Oxtail Gastronomic Association, in collaboration with the Algemesí City Council, Valhalla Restaurant, and the Comer en Valencia guide.

Throughout the day, 12 restaurants will compete to win over the jury with their best interpretations of the traditional oxtail dish. Three prizes will be awarded to the best creations in a day filled with excitement, talent, and plenty of flavor.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the tastings for just €3, in a festive atmosphere open to all food lovers. The event will take place on Sant Josep de Calassanç Street, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, as part of the gastronomic program of the Setmana de Bous d’Algemesí.
