The feast days in honour of San Antón take place until 17th January and last two or three days during which bonfires are lit in the streets and squares of the town. It is a celebration that each year is organised by the Calles Town Council, which gives away sausages and streaky bacon to all of the bonfire groups. A mass in honour of the Saint is also held as well as the blessing of the animals, with bread and chocolate being shared out. Games are organised such as barrón throwing by married and single people, human castles, hair races, cucañas (the greasy pole game), cavalcade, children's and adults' races, a dance and fancy dress.
