La Pobla de Farnals is so well connected to València city that it couldn’t be an easier destination for your next getaway. Keep reading to discover how to make the most of your time in the small town.

What to do in La Pobla de Farnals

Located in Horta Nord county, La Pobla de Farnals is enveloped by plains whose colours evolve with the crops growing in the fields. This agricultural land, known as the huerta, is a wonderful place to take a walk to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The historic Vía Xurra, in particular, is an excellent cycle path that will take you south towards València city and through a number of municipalities and points of interest along the way.

La Pobla de Farnals town centre oozes history and tradition. Take a stroll down pretty streets where you will come across traditional bread and pastry shops selling baked delights and gaze at the way the sunlight bathes the façades of the traditional houses. While you’re here, make sure you take the time to visit San José parish church

During the Fiestas de San Antonio celebrations, the streets of the town are filled with the aroma of calderas de buey, a hearty stew left to bubble away for hours in huge metal pots over a wood fire. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this tradition alongside the locals.

La Pobla de Farnals is also known for its coastline. Norte beach is a long expanse of fine sand where you can enjoy all the services you could possibly want, including accessibility points for people with disabilities. Pobla de Farnals beach is also the scene of Festividad de la Virgen del Carmen, when boats head out to sea, and the renowned Noche de San Juan bonfires.

Not only is La Pobla de Farnals a well connected beach destination, it also emanates the quintessential charm of the historic villages populating the huerta. Come and enjoy all its wonders for yourself.
