Things to do in Navarrés, Valencia
Start by exploring the traditional streets of Navarrés’ historic centre, taking time to visit the Parish Church of la Asunción de Nuestra Señora. Dating back to the 18th century, the church features Baroque and Rococo elements and also houses the Parish Museum Collection, where you can see a range of liturgical objects. Highlights include a 17th-century polychrome sculpture and several finely crafted pieces of silverwork.
Next, head up to the Hermitage of Santísimo Cristo de la Salud, set on a small rise above the town, which offers views over Navarrés and its surroundings. A walk out to the remains of the castle is also well worth the effort; it’s a stunning example of medieval architecture whose ruins still shape the skyline.
