There are several items worth noting on the outer walls, amongst which a large rose, a statue of the Virgin of the Rosary and the clock tower, flanked by the two Saint Johns, are outstanding. At the highest point of the building is the "pardal de Sant Joan" a weathervane which, according to tradition, poor parents pointed to, to distract their children, before abandoning them in the square. Worthy of note also are the paintings which cover the whole of the vault, the work of Andrés Palomino in 1703.
