Situated on Malvarrosa beach in València city, Casa Museo de Blasco Ibáñez is a house-come-museum that displays the personal belongings and literary works of the influential author, offering you the opportunity to discover the man and his work.

Casa Museo Blasco Ibáñez is located on the site where the writer’s beach house used to sit. Enjoying large grounds, the property’s façade replicates the appearance of his original home. The museum was opened here in 1997.

The building offers a number of different floors to explore. The ground floor is given over to an exhibition about the life and work of Vicente Blasco Ibáñez. A number of different exhibitions, round tables and poetry recitals are also held here, creating a space dedicated to the celebration of Spanish literature.

The first floor recreates the space in which the author lived through original objects and pieces of art. The second floor, meanwhile, is home to the Library and Research Centre, which contains an extensive archive of materials and documents concerning the writer.

If you are interested in Spanish literature and culture, make sure you put Casa Museo de Blasco Ibáñez on your to-visit list.
