Iglesia de San Francisco, San Francisco Church in Xátiva, located in La Costera in the province of Valencia, was once part of convent that is no longer standing built by the Franciscans in the second half of the 14th century. Due to its proximity to the noble palaces of the time, the church became the pantheon for the great local families that followed Jaume I, like the illustrious Borjas.

Nowadays, following countless renovations and refurbishments, you can see San Francisco Church’s Gothic-Cistercian style. It has a rectangular plan, one nave and chapels amid the buttresses, topped with ribbed vaults.
