The itinerary starts in the Via Verde, from the rest area that we find next to El Estepar settlement. From this point we begin the ascent to El Puig through El Estepar.

The summit of El Puig has an archaeological site which shows the two phases of the occupation: a Bronze Age village and an Iberian town, where the remains of a defensive tower which dates back to the 4th century BC can still be found.
