A 6km trail through an agricultural landscape mostly populated with orange groves flanking the northern coast of the historic town of Dénia.

Far from being all about the coast, the beaches and the Mediterranean, Dénia also has orange groves set against the backdrop of El Montgó natural park. On what was once the railway line connecting Carcaixent and Dénia is now a beautiful Vía Verde (literally meaning ‘Greenway’ in English).

The trail will immerse you in orange trees, almonds trees and veggie plots all the way to Las Marinas beach and nearby villages. Alternatively, you can continue to Marjal de Pego-Oliva natural park. The trail is the perfect place to do some exercise, enjoy time together as a family, or unwind and recharge your batteries on foot, by bike or in your wheelchair.
