The Passion of Jesus Christ “Nueva Jerusalén” is an itinerant performance held every Holy Thursday in Borriol, declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest. More than 150 participants take part, recreating with great realism the final moments of Jesus’ life across different locations in the town, from the arrival in Jerusalem to Calvary. The combination of torches, original music, and highly dramatic scenes makes this event a unique experience that attracts thousands of spectators every year.
